According to the Associated Press (AP) report, at that time, U.S. Border Patrol officers used patrol dogs and X-ray scanners to confirm that there were three stowaways hiding in the trunk of a car that passed the Interstate 19 checkpoint.

Officials revealed that the driver of the car transporting the stowaways was a U.S. resident, but on November 13, the official did not disclose the name of the driver. Currently, the driver and stowaways have been arrested, and officials plan to deport the three Chinese nationals back to China.
