The Longkang Friendship and Friendship Office of America held the 21st People’s Congress in Phoenix, Arizona on October 21st. Xia Chang, director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office of the Republic of China in Los Angeles, team leader Liu Lixin, Yang Haihua, director of the Orange County Overseas Chinese Cultural and Educational Service Center, etc. Attending the opening ceremony, more than 300 representatives from Longgang Friendship Offices from all over the Americas gathered in Phoenix, including representatives and family members of offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Chicago, Houston, New York, New England, Toronto, Vancouver, Mexico, and Peru. Zhao Enguang, chairman of the World Longgang Friendship Association, also led a delegation from Taiwan to attend, and the scene was very lively.

The day kicked off with a ceremony to pay homage to the ancestors, expressing the sworn friendship with the ancestors of the four surnames Liu, Guan, Zhang and Zhao in Taoyuan, and gathering in the ancient city to pursue the past with caution. The opening ceremony started with a wonderful lion dance performance. In his speech, Director Xiaxia Chang affirmed Longgang's spirit of loyalty, bravery, unity and cooperation, which is influential in traditional overseas Chinese communities in Chinatowns across America and has won the admiration and praise of the world. During the conference, President Tsai Ing-wen was awarded the " The inscription "Dunben Raise the Voice", and the representative read out the congratulatory message from Wu Xingxing, Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission, which was accepted by representatives from the General Office Chairman Zhang Guoqin, Honorary Chairman of the Preparatory Committee Guan Zongren, and Co-Chairmen of the Preparatory Committee Zhang Zhaohong, Guan Xiqiao, and Liu Wobiao.

That night, the organizing committee of the Qinqin Conference held a public banquet for the representatives attending the conference. There were 40 tables. Zhang Fanghua, consultant of the American Longgang Qinyi General Office, hosted the dinner. Senior overseas Chinese leaders Yu Wenjin and Deng Chaoju attended the event. The organizer also prepared a variety of cultural performances to entertain representatives from branches in the Americas. The scene was lively and the atmosphere was warm. The Ryukang Chess-Yi General Office’s Chess-making Conference is held every three years. It has a history of 63 years. This is the first time it is held in Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix City's warm and thoughtful reception was greatly recognized by the family members of the office.

The American Dragon Boat Festival held the 21st Qinqin Representative Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on October 21. The banquet held on that day was attended by more than 300 people.
