>In the New Year of 2020, Arizona's traditional Chinese opera "Alberta Spring Festival Gala" is full of New Year's blessings and will have a grand opening at 7:00pm on January 25 (the first day of the new year) at the Meisha Art Center. Arizona's literary and artistic elites have participated in this grand event. After 10 years of work, more and more American artists have joined us. The 2020 Arizona Spring Festival Gala has become a big gathering for friends from China and the United States to celebrate the New Year and revel together. This year's show will dazzle you, so get ready!
Acrobatics | Annie Mielke lets you appreciate the dance in the air
"Alberta Spring Festival Gala" invited Annie Mielke, who won the 2019 Best Emerging Silk Artist Award at the Vivafest Circus Competition in Las Vegas in 2019. A ten-meter-long piece of silk became a stage for Annie to fly freely in the air. Her exquisite skills created many precedents in the art of silk acrobatics. Annie also brought her small team to the Spring Festival Gala. Each of them has a special skill and uses their body to challenge the limits of strength and balance, igniting the stage of the 2020 Spring Festival Gala.
Dance | Inheriting the quintessence of Chinese art and dance drama to recall the special era
"Dao Ma Dan" performed by students from the Art Institute of Alberta was warmly welcomed by the audience at the Mid-Autumn Festival and Asia Festival. Their every move showed the children's solid basic skills, figure, and momentum, and they all looked like heroines!
The scene dance "Youth" will take you into a special era in China. Many actors in the show are people who have lived through it. They reproduce their youth with the most authentic emotions and give blessings to the new generation. The actors are all friends from the community, some are making their debut, and some are couples acting together. Who are these mysterious guests? Don't forget to buy tickets to support us!
>The Sichuan Opera "Face Changing" 2020 will also change faces. Will Spider-Man become Superman, or Kung Fu Panda become Nezha? wrong! wrong! wrong! The answer lies in the 2020 "Alberta Spring Festival Gala"
> Vocal Music | A cappella choir sings the Spring Festival Gala. Chinese fans in public schools celebrate the New Year
The Arizona A Cappella Youth Girls Chorus, which has won the first place in the Young Women in Harmony international competition four times in a row, will come to the Spring Festival Gala again to celebrate the Alberta Spring Festival Gala. This year we also have a secret weapon from Chandler Basis High School, their Chinese BeatBox Team will be making their debut at the Spring Festival Gala. At the same time, young fans of Chinese culture from two public schools, Tarwater Elementary School and Coronado Elementary School, joined the team to celebrate the Chinese New Year, singing and dancing to celebrate the New Year.
