January 5, 2017, Arizona State University 2017 Spring Orientation Assembly was in the Student Center (Memorial Auditorium) Building 202 Lecture Hall was held grandly. Dr. Li Jiang, President of the Phoenix Association of Science and Technology Professionals and President of Haitong Construction Company, was invited to attend as a Chinese representative and delivered a wonderful speech.
Through his speech, Dr. Li Jiang shared his 30-year life experience in the United States with the freshmen. He also introduced the customs of Phoenix and the current situation of the Chinese. Based on his personal experience, he comforted the homesickness of the international freshmen. He also encouraged the students to not only ensure their studies in college, but also get more contact with the society. Finally, he invited the students to participate in the annual Chinese New Year event in Phoenix.
After the meeting, Dr. Li Jiang had a cordial exchange with the students in the audience. In addition to Chinese students, there were also many students from India, Europe and the United States who asked Dr. Li for advice. Dr. Li patiently answered the students one by one.
