To welcome the National Day of the United States in 2014, the Federation of Chinese Overseas Chinese League in Huangcheng will once again hold the John Yuan Cup Youth and Children's Painting Competition to celebrate the National Day. Our association sincerely invites parents and teachers to encourage and guide students to actively participate in this activity. The theme of the painting competition is: I love America. Authors can create around the theme

Conditions of entry: School students, students in independent painting studios or individuals under the age of seventeen (inclusive) who live in the Daluohuang City area can participate.

Entries: There is no limit on the form and style of painting. Ink, oil, and pencil drawings are acceptable. The appropriate size of the work is 40X60 cm.

Submission of works for review: Paintings should be submitted to our association before June 1, 2014 (the detailed address will be announced separately). When submitting your work for review, please fill in the work submission form, including the author’s name, age, name of school or studio, and contact number.

>Judgement and Encouragement: The selection of works is divided into three age groups, the children group under six years old; the juvenile group between seven and eleven years old; and the youth group between twelve and seventeen years old. This company will hire relevant people to form a review team to select thirty winning works. There are three winners and seven honorees in each group. It will be displayed and awarded at this year's National Day July 4th conference. The winners will be awarded prizes and certificates by the Overseas Chinese Federation, and recommended to relevant newspapers and magazines for publication or exhibition.

To welcome the 2014 National Day, the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation will hold a 2014 National Day celebration event. People from all walks of life, children and teenagers are welcome to actively participate in submissions and participate in the grand event. Every Chinese who immigrated to the United States, no matter whether they have great achievements or live an ordinary life, has a dream and a journey of adapting to a new environment and creating a new life. We hope that through this event, we will record the struggles of more overseas Chinese and also show the dreams of the new generation of overseas Chinese in the United States.

The title of this article is: My American Dream

Conditions for participating in the article: All Chinese residents living in the Greater Phoenix area can participate, with no age limit.

>English writing requirements: The writing can be written in Chinese or English. Teenagers can write about their dreams for the future, and adults can write about their struggles and prospects for realizing the American dream. The text is required to be vivid and simple. The word count should be less than 1,000 words.

Article submission: Articles will be collected from now on until June 10, 2014. Please send your manuscripts by email to the National Day celebration team of the Overseas Chinese Federation website chineseunitedguoqing@gmail.com. And please fill in the work submission form, including the author's name, address, contact number, email and school, etc. Authors may submit under pseudonyms.

Work review and encouragement: The received works will be published in the local newspaper or website in the "National Day Articles" column. This 㑹 will hire relevant people to form a review team, and select outstanding works according to age groups and reward them. The specific method will be determined and announced before the review based on the submissions.
