In order to showcase the new achievements of Chinese and foreign contemporary poetry and prose, promote the great development and prosperity of socialist culture, unite Chinese and foreign poetry and prose writers, discover and cultivate poetry, prose authors and enthusiasts, the 2014 Chinese and Foreign Poetry and Prose Invitational Competition is now soliciting submissions from home and abroad. In the midsummer of 2014, we will gather in the capital to sow hope, let go of dreams, use our hearts to feel life and time, and use our pens to sing life and love.

Call for submissions: From now until June 1, 2014
Call for submissions: Poems, prose, and prose poems that are elegant in style, novel in concept, and can embody the spirit of the times and reflect real life. What you say should be meaningful, sincere and full of literary talent. There is no limit to the subject matter of the work, and there is no limit to whether it will be published or not. You can send a copy and indicate the source. You are responsible for the article.
Essay requirements: 1. New poems are limited to 2, with a total of 50 lines or less. Limit of 3 traditional poems. The prose is limited to 1 article and 2,000 words; the prose poem is limited to 3 chapters, each chapter is limited to 800 words. We advocate keeping things short and using the small to see the big. Group poems, social poems and autobiographical articles are not allowed. 2. Please indicate your detailed address, real name, phone number and resume on the manuscript. Submissions will not be returned. Please keep the manuscript for yourself. Submissions are welcome via email, please do not use attachments. Submission email is: zwsw8868@sina.com. 3. Each person can only participate in one category of the competition, duplicates will be invalid. Please do not send paper manuscripts again after electronic submission.
> Selection and rewards: 1. There is no entry fee or judging fee for the invitational competition. The judging panel is composed of leaders of the organizer and writers and poets in Beijing. Shortlisting is the preliminary evaluation, and then goes through the re-evaluation and final evaluation procedures. 2. The invitational competition has first, second, third prizes and excellence awards. At the same time, ten "Best Chinese and Foreign Poetry Awards" and ten "Best Chinese and Foreign Prose Awards" will be selected, and certificates will be awarded. Please be aware that there are no bonuses or prizes. 3. All award-winning writers will be notified in writing and invited to Beijing to participate in the awards ceremony and creative forum. Their works will be published on China Prose Network and will be published by national publishing houses. Recommend outstanding winners to go abroad to participate in the World Poets Conference.
