In order to have a bigger and better stage, the school specially moved to the auditorium of Rhodes Junior High School this year. From the stage to the lighting to the sound equipment, it can be compared with professional standards. Even though the auditorium was much larger than before, the venue was still full. Students and parents attended in costumes and filled the entire event with laughter and laughter.
The ceremony began with a speech by Principal Xie Xiaohong. Principal Xie summarized the school’s teaching activities over the past year and the students’ impressive achievements, both in Chinese and in their talents. This year marks the 19th anniversary of the founding of Hope Chinese School. In addition to achieving impressive results in various competitions, the school was also rated as an "Overseas Chinese Education Model School" and established the school library "Huaxing Bookstore". Don’t forget those who dug the well when drinking water. Principal Xie expressed his gratitude to all previous principals, school teams and people who are enthusiastic about running schools. Principal Tang Xiaoxian, the first president of our school, also came to the scene and was filled with emotion as he looked at the new generation of hopeful teachers and students.
Principal Xie expressed his highest gratitude to the school board of directors, school committee and all teachers for their hard work and dedication in the school's affairs and teaching work over the past year. Chairman He Shijiang and Chairman He Shijiang presented awards to the members of the board of directors and school committee and the annual outstanding teachers. This time, special awards were given to teachers with more than five years of teaching experience and more than ten years of teaching experience to thank them for their hard work in the school for many years. Then she grandly introduced the school’s new principal, Ms. Tian Lin, and the new chairman, Ms. Zhou Qing. She believed that they would continue to lead this hopeful team to make the school better. The student union also presented flowers to the volunteers and teachers to represent the students' gratitude to the volunteers and teachers.
The rows of glittering trophies and medals on the stage are all prepared for the children. In addition to the traditional children's poetry recitations "Up, Down, Left and Right", "Little Duck", "Long Song Xing", "Stars", "Chinese Kung Fu" and "Manchu" "Jiang Hong" and "Mountain Dwelling in Autumn Darkness"; there are also choruses "Happy Face", "Looking for Friends", "Fireflies" and "Let's Swing the Oars", as well as cleverly arranged stage plays "Little Monkey Descends the Mountain" and "Snail Moonlight Story".
