2014 Tzu Chi’s end-of-year blessings – support a small bamboo tube to celebrate the New Year Say goodbye to the old and welcome the new, and one year has passed in the blink of an eye. Tzu Chi’s end-of-year blessings arrived as scheduled...
Bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, a year has passed in the blink of an eye, and Tzu Chi’s year-end blessings have arrived as scheduled. On February 7, hundreds of great virtues came to Tzu Chi Phoenix Liaison Office to listen to the Master’s teachings and blessings. Sister Cai Citao, head of the Tzu Chi Phoenix City Liaison Office, shared the story of Tzu Chi’s bamboo tubes with the eminent practitioners. 49 years ago, 30 housewives saved 50 cents a day to buy groceries, put them into bamboo tubes, sent out a kind thought every day, and started charity work to help the poor. Over time, Tzu Chi has grown into the current Tzu Chi, which is present in 50 countries around the world. Every year for blessings at the end of the year, many virtuous people who adopt bamboo tubes send the money from the bamboo tubes back to their natal Tzu Chi. These bits and pieces of money have helped many, many people in dark corners. Most people like to raise a lucky bamboo or a money tree during the Chinese New Year. If you can also adopt a bamboo tube, then the change can play a big role.

Distributing blessing and wisdom red envelopes is the most anticipated moment of every event for the great virtues. Every red envelope is filled with the Master’s immeasurable gratitude and blessings. The Master hopes that all people in the world will promote environmental protection and promote humanities. Although the Master could not be present to give blessings in person, Sister Ci Tao and Brother Guo Chuanglin distributed red envelopes on their behalf.
Happiness and Wisdom Red Envelopes Finally, a hundred members of the congregation lit up their heart lanterns, raised the lanterns to their eyebrows, and prayed sincerely to purify people's hearts, so that there would be no disasters in the world, and the Year of the Sheep would be a peaceful and auspicious year of blessings and wisdom.
