(Overseas Chinese Federation News) The Overseas Chinese Federation of Greater Phoenix City held a meeting of all overseas Chinese delegation representatives on March 26 to elect a new leadership team for 2014. The chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation was Yu Wenze.

>The Overseas Chinese Federation currently consists of eighteen overseas Chinese groups, including the Deng Xinping Veterans Association, the Association of Science and Engineering Professionals, the Phoenix Homology Association, the Chinese American Professional Association, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the Alberta Chinese Restaurant Association. Desert Jade Women's Association, Huangcheng Longgang Office, Deng Gaomi Office, Overseas Chinese Women's Association, Chinese Elders Association, Chinese Welfare Association, Rongguang Association, Taiwan Fellowship Association, Huang Clan Association, Yu Fengcaitang, Yingduan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and China Weekly Committee. The Overseas Chinese Federation holds a general meeting of overseas Chinese groups at the beginning of each year. Each group appoints two representatives to participate in the voting and jointly elect the chairman and other board members for the new year. The previous president, Zhang Huafang, had outstanding work results. In her speech, she summarized the work of the past two years and thanked everyone for their efforts. Everyone expressed their affirmation and praise for her work with warm applause.
