Phoenix City Fengming Report] On Sunday, May 11, which is also Mother’s Day, after the Sunday worship service, teachers, students and parents of Chinese schools gathered together at the Phoenix Chinese Christian Church lobby to celebrate the fruitful results of the students’ hard work for a year and held a solemn and joyful graduation ceremony. While preparing for the final exam, the students also carefully prepared exciting programs under the leadership of their homeroom teachers.

The graduation ceremony started on time at 1:30 PM under the auspices of teacher Zhang Wanfei. Pastor Liu Shuhua of the church prayed for the ceremony and presented the Outstanding Award to the students. A total of 30 students received this special honorary award. The following starts with the children's song "Children Songs" from the preschool phonetic class, followed by the traditional Chinese class 1's rap and singing, singing the color song from the swimming class, the children's dance class's dance "Hometown is Beijing", the Chinese preschool's children's song "What are the little animals called?", the bilingual class's song "My Good Mother", and classmate Peng Zian's story telling "You are very special," The Simplified Chinese Class 4 recited the lyrics of "The Most Beautiful Blessings", the youth dance class danced "Fengyang Flower Drum", etc. There are 16 songs in total, including children's songs, dances, songs, ancient poetry recitations, storytelling, and self-written and self-acted dramas. They are all complete. The children's innocent smiles and tender and sweet children's voices are really more beautiful when recited than the songs. The dance performed by the youth dance class: Fengyang Flower Drum Chinese Folk Dance. It is an award-winning program, in which the storytelling and song "My Good Mother" are particularly popular. Student Peng Zian's storytelling: "You are special." "special", using standard Mandarin, vividly told everyone about each special you, which was a great encouragement to the children. The song "My Good Mother" sung by the students in the bilingual class was very touching, especially this day happened to be Mother's Day. The children's singing deeply moved every mother present, although raising children is so difficult. After such hard work, it is all worth it for the children to have such great love. Children are God’s best gift to every family. We are disciplining and cultivating children for God. Teachers and students have worked hard to achieve such results. In the middle of the program, Li Zhen, the principal of the Chinese school, gave a speech to express his gratitude to all the teachers and colleagues. For their hard work and dedication throughout the year, I wish the students excellent academic performance and strive to not forget to learn Chinese during the holidays. The entertainment program at the ceremony also included Trivia questions and awards to the 19 outstanding students in the literacy/recitation competition. The entertainment program ended with laughter from the audience. The students happily flocked to the prize area to receive their awards, which was a wonderful reward for their hard work for a year.
