The selection of the junior host of the 2014 Alberta Golden Autumn Dance Arts Festival will be held among the winners of the Speech Club Week. The New Oriental Toastmasters Club, chaired by the same principal, held its first event on June 7. A total of eight activities were held during the summer, every Saturday morning. Each event has a speaking topic. Currently, more than 80 students have signed up. The teacher will divide the students into three groups according to their age. In each event, one student winner from each group with outstanding performance will be selected as the weekly champion. After the summer, they will participate in the selection of young hosts for the Golden Autumn Dance Art Festival. The first 2014 Golden Autumn Dance Art Festival will be held on September 14, 2014 at the Chandler Center For the Arts Theater. New Oriental Art School has selected an adult host for this show and will also select a student host. The school will hold a tryout in mid-August, and the student presenters will be selected from the weekly winners of the Toastmasters Club’s summer activities.
