Among them, the creations of two Asian girls, 11-year-old Huang Meida and 8-year-old Yao Jing, were particularly outstanding. They won first place in the 4-6 grade group and second place in the K-3 grade group, and received prizes of 300 yuan and 200 yuan respectively.

The work "Indian Girl" created by Huang Meida fully demonstrates the integrity, simplicity, perseverance and bravery of Indian girls. The Indian girl in the painting wears an eagle feather crown on her head and a costume with Indian ethnic characteristics. It harmoniously blends with the brilliant and gorgeous colors of the West, bringing a strong artistic shock to the viewer. She stands out among all the paintings and won unanimous praise from the judges. She won the first place in the 6th grade group of this competition.
Yao Jing, who is only 8 years old, used innocent and cute lines drawn by children to outline the life scenes of western cowboys. The composition is beautiful, the colors are strong and rough, and he won the second place in the K-3 grade group. The work is titled "Western Evening Breeze". In the painting, a vigorous cowboy leads a brown horse and returns home in the magnificent sunset. The solid and thick earthen buildings are well-proportioned and adjacent to each other. The long stone steps are close to the outer edge of the house, some porcelain is randomly placed in front of the door, and the cheerful rooster in the foreground all shows the wisdom, simple and healthy living conditions of the western cowboys. Although it is impossible to visit, people yearn for it.
The two students selected by painter Lin Feng for this competition performed well and both won awards. The two children used their weekends to learn painting from Lin Feng and received basic training, which greatly improved their application of composition, shape, perspective proportion and color. Huang Meida has excellent academic performance. Her works won the Outstanding Work Award in the Children's Group (6-12 Year old) of the 2013 Alberta Chinese Art Exhibition, the second place in the American Independence Day Joan Yen (Grades 8-12), and the first place in the Arizona Asia Festival Poster Design Contest (Grades 3-5).
State officials awarded certificates and bonuses to Yao Jing
