The 2012 Chinese Dance Spring Festival Special Camp (Dalian) is recruiting campers across the United States. Sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China and hosted by the National Chinese Youth Federation, the "2012 Overseas Chinese Youth Overseas Chinese Youth Journey to China" Dalian Spring Camp is now officially open for registration. Chinese youths from all over the United States aged 16 to 23 who are interested in Chinese dance are welcome to actively participate. The Chinese Dance Spring Camp will be held in Dalian City, Liaoning Province from April 10, 2012 to April 23, 2012. According to the School of International Education of Liaoning Normal University, the organizer of this spring camp, it is hoped that by participating in the study, visits and field training of this spring camp, the children of overseas Chinese can learn the basics of Chinese dance and classic folk dances, and understand the thousands of years of civilization history of the Chinese nation.
