The 2012 Alberta Hualian First Tennis Open was held at Corona del Sol High School on March 3 Ming Jin retreated, and the first and second places in the three groups each had their own place. This competition attracted more than 20 tennis players to participate. After a full day of fierce competition from the group cycle to the finals, the first and second place men's doubles, the first and second place men's singles, and the first and second place women's singles of the first Tennis Open were determined. They are: First place in men's doubles: Fan Zhiqiang/Yuan Qiang, second place: Wang Weizhen/Mike Liu. First place in men's singles: Jason Lew, second place: Zou Zhihua. First place in women's singles: Zhou Qing, second place: Wang Yu. Congratulations to them for winning the game. Fei Jian, president of the Alberta Chinese Federation, presented trophies and medals to the first and second place players. Competition results will be posted on the Alberta Hualien website: www.chineseaz.org. The one-day tennis open was hosted by the Hualian Association of Alberta. Director of the Alberta Hualien Wang Weijuan convened and worked with Coach Li to provide professional event organization: including the arrangement of the schedule, the format and rules of the competition, etc. The Alberta Hualian League and the organizers of this Open would like to thank all the players who participated, and especially thank Coach Li and the unknown volunteers for their services to this Open Tennis Open. The Hualian of Alberta adheres to the purpose of serving the community and is willing to provide services to the Chinese and overseas Chinese to the best of its ability. This Tennis Open provides a platform for tennis enthusiasts. Players from all walks of life gather together to take advantage of this rare opportunity to enjoy the fun of tennis again. See you all next year!
