2012 China and America Semiconductor Association High-Tech Job Fair (Photo) The annual China and America Semiconductor Association (CASPA) Jobfair will arrive with the hot summer in Phoenix, which has been an important part of CASPA's service to companies and professionals for many years. CASPA (Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Association) was established in San Jose, California in 1991. It is a professional non-profit organization with approximately 4,000 to 5,000 members around the world, and more than 70 semiconductor companies fund CASPA's activities. CASPA has held 16 talent recruitment fairs since 1995, and this year is the 17th. CASPA has developed with the development of the semiconductor industry. The following table lists the relevant figures of the CASPA San Jose headquarters job fair since 2006. From here we can also see a microcosm of the development of the world's high-tech companies. Year Corporation attendees 2006 25 500 2007 20 400 2008 14 600 2010 18 800 2011 30 1000 From According to a job fair survey of job seekers, 70% of job seekers were willing to relocate in the United States in 2011, and 15% were willing to relocate outside the United States. In 2010, these figures were only 30% and 33% respectively. We seem to be seeing what's going on in the job market. We will wait and see the results of this year and hope to see signs of recovery. The 2012 job fair will be held at the Marriott Hotel Santa Clara in Silicon Valley at 10:00 am on May 5, 2012 and at the Fiesta Resort in Phoenix on May 7 at 4:30 pm. This job fair covers the United States and the Asia-Pacific region, especially mainland China. There are some high-end positions. Don’t miss this good opportunity that only comes once a year.
