On the occasion of the New Year of 2012, the National Association of Chinese Young Journalists, the Chinese American Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Research Association, the Chinese New Media Polling Service and other organizations selected the top 10 news stories of the Chinese community in Southern California in 2011.
