Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission’s 2011 Overseas Chinese Businessmen Cultural Creativity (Flower Art and Tea Art) Workshop has begun registration In order to help overseas Chinese learn flower art, tea art and start businesses based on cultural and creative concepts, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Council has organized the "2011 Overseas Chinese Businessmen Cultural Creativity (Floral Art and Tea Art) Workshop", which is hosted by Shih Shih University and invites well-known domestic experts and scholars to teach the practice and application of flower tea art and cultural and creative micro-entrepreneurship courses. The workshop dates are from November 14 to 25, 2011, and registration is open from now until September 9 this year. The course contents include oriental flower arrangement and application, introduction and analysis of tea art, selection of flower utensils and tea sets, Taiwanese tea making and Leicha experience, cultural entrepreneurship and marketing, and on-site observation of related enterprises. The Overseas Chinese Affairs Council will bear the tuition and fees for the study courses, teachers and materials. Participants will have to pay for round-trip air tickets and transportation from their place of residence, as well as board and lodging and other personal expenses during the study period.
