This line refers to the light rail station at the intersection of 44th Street and Washington Street, to the Airport Platform 4. It is completely free for passengers to ride this light rail, and it operates 24 hours a day. During peak hours, light rail will arrive approximately every three minutes to transport passengers. It only takes 5 minutes from the 44th Street and Washington Street light rail station to the platform.

On April 29, the reporter purchased a one-way light rail ticket for US$1.75. Take the light rail from the ASU Tempe campus to the light rail station at the intersection of 44th Street and Washington Street. This is the stop where you must change to the Airport Light Rail to get to the airport. There are Southwest Airlines and US Airways luggage check-in services on the second floor. If you are a passenger of these two airlines, you can check your luggage immediately. Get on the light rail for free on the second floor, and the light rail goes to platform four. The light rail has two carriages and there are very few people inside.

It takes about 5 minutes to reach platform 4. If you need to go to platform 2 or 3, you can transfer to the shuttle at the airport.
