Arizona oil prices bucked the trend and fell for the 14th consecutive year. Dropped to $3.35 (Alberta Times) Gasoline prices in Alberta continued to decline, with the average price falling by 5.2 cents last week to $3.350 per gallon. Looking at gas prices across the state, the East Valley gas price averages $3.265, the lowest in the state, while Flagstaff has the highest price, averaging $3.562 per gallon. Although residents of this state have enjoyed continued declines in gas prices, gas prices in the District of Columbia and 33 other states have been on the rise. The average price of gas in the Midwest has risen by more than 10 cents, exceeding the previous week's increase. "Across the country, we are experiencing rising gas prices, consistent with recent changes in crude oil prices and hot weather," said Arizona Automobile Association spokesperson Linda Gorman. "Given current market factors, Alberta oil prices will continue to decline in the short term, barring unforeseen circumstances."
