Home sales in the greater Phoenix area in December (Alberta Times) Single-family home sales in the greater Phoenix area in December have exceeded $800,000. The price per square foot is higher than the same period last year. The inventory of homes also continues to decline. The market for homes over $400,000 remains relatively weak. The market share of bank housing is still decreasing. There are already relatively few short-term houses, and houses that are sold normally have won most of the market. From the perspective of overall sales, the most direct change in November and December is the substantial reduction in housing reserves. The biggest decline in supply is for houses under $100,000. Houses between 200,000 and 400,000 are in good condition, but houses above 400,000 still have major sales problems. The houses with the largest change were those below 100,000 yuan. After hitting the lowest price per square meter in February 2011, it has risen by 7% in the following nearly a year. As the supply decreases, the industry estimates that most home buyers will have fewer choices in the spring, and there will be fierce competition for good houses.
