>Lecture content: It is the dream of most parents to let their children go to an excellent university. Every parent wants to give their children the best education, but how to pay for it is a question that many parents need to think about. Determining the most cost-effective, tax-effective way to finance your child's college education is no easy task. Many parents often don't think about this problem, always thinking that "there must be a road before the car reaches the mountain" and things will be solved in some way. Others solve these problems by seeking advice from different sources such as friends, family, books, magazines, television, and the Internet. In this lecture, the two teachers will present the practical issues of college education and the college planning program of the Heartland Institute of Financial Education (HIFE) to help parents understand the cost of college education, the college planning process, and the American college funding system. This lecture will also talk about how to plan for children's college education and why parents should start planning for their children's future life early. A proper start will allow our children to qualify for scholarships, grants and financial aid, which will significantly reduce the amount of money parents take out of their own pockets. Speaker: Chen Xieping, CPA, Maple Luo Chen Xieping, CPA, Maple Luo is a certified consultant in financial education and college planning.
