News Review:

A truck's passenger windshield was struck by a bullet on the highway Wednesday in what Arizona authorities fear was a double shooting. Authorities are investigating nine incidents in which vehicles were shot at on Highway 10 in the past two weeks. The Department of Public Safety has not confirmed whether it was a shooting, and no one has been injured at this time. One of the bullets shattered the car's windshield, and the broken glass scratched a 13-year-old girl. Other bullets hit the vehicle's headlights or sides. "The safety of Arizona is our top priority and we are working to apprehend those responsible for these crimes," said Arizona Governor Doug Se. ?BR> On Tuesday, police announced they were investigating five recent shootings, including one that was struck by a police officer on his way to work and another in a white truck on Route 10 on its way to a gas station. Their windshields were hit by bullets. The Director of Public Safety said this was a domestic terrorism crime and the perpetrators were targeting certain individuals. "Nine incidents in 10 days, this is a real and ongoing threat to driving safety in Arizona," the public safety director said at a news conference. The FBI is assisting in the investigation. The police urgently appealed to the public to assist in the investigation and provide information on the suspects. The police also issued an urgent offer of reward information on billboards on the side of the highway. Anyone who provides valuable information will receive a reward of US$20,000. At this time, police will not disclose further information about the investigation, and they do not yet know whether the nine shootings are directly related, whether they were fired from other vehicles, or from the side of the highway. Although there are no casualties yet, if this incident continues, casualties will only be a matter of time.

The shooting began on August 29, with two vehicles being hit within an hour and a half on Highway 10 between 19 and 59 Ave. A third vehicle was hit later on the 29th, at 16th Street on Highway 10. A fourth vehicle was in the same area on August 31st. A police officer going to work was hit in the windshield on Highway 10 at 35 Ave and 43 Ave on Tuesday. Another shooting occurred a minute later.
