According to information from a public safety spokesperson, Arizona police officers are investigating a suspect in connection with a freeway shooting Friday morning. Police detained two people at Highway 10 and 107 Ave at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. A public safety spokesman later confirmed one of the people was under investigation. Of the 11 shootings that have occurred since August 29, the Public Safety Bureau has confirmed that eight vehicles were hit by bullets and three vehicles were hit by unknown objects. Most of the shootings are confirmed to have occurred on Route 10 between 83 Ave and 32 St. The three vehicles attacked were cars, three pickup trucks, two box trucks, an SUV, a tour bus, and a semi-truck. Hundreds of messages from people have been received so far.
