Home Depot is hiring 1,000 positions in Phoenix (Alberta Times) Home Depot recently issued a recruitment request to hire 1,000 seasonal employees at 26 home improvement stores in the Phoenix area to handle annual spring tree planting and home renovations. Atlanta-based Home Depot, which has 56 stores in the state, plans to hire 7,000 seasonal positions across the state, including cashiers, sales associates, nursery workers, vehicle loaders and other positions. Part-time positions usually last for around 120 days, but many temporary positions can be converted to permanent positions.
