那些表示想要移民美国的潜在移民，大多数都是来自人口众多的国家，包括中国、尼日利亚、印度、孟加拉和巴西。

但美国也并非对所有人口繁多的国家都具有吸引力。巴基斯坦、土耳其和泰国这些国家虽然人口众多，但想要移居美国的人并不多。

而将美国作为最理想移民国的人们则是来自利比亚、塞拉利昂、多米尼加共和国、海地和柬埔寨这些国家。
