(Contributed by Phoenix Chinese School) On October 29th, Phoenix Chinese School was at Arrowhead Meadows Park in Chandler City as usual. Host a fall barbecue; something different this year is the combined Halloween celebrations. This event was planned by the Chinese Cultural Association and the Student Representatives Association of our school, and nearly 250 teachers, students, and their families participated in the event, making the scene lively.
Enthusiastic parents and students arrived at the venue one after another before ten o'clock to start setting up. A cute little pumpkin was placed on each table. The walls of the pavilion are hung with hanging decorations full of Halloween atmosphere, including giant spiders, skeletons, little ghosts and colorful ribbons. Ten tables were filled with homemade meals brought by parents. The abundant food included hot stir-fries, cold cuts, cold dishes, braised meats, snacks, soups, as well as Chinese and Western desserts, sweet soups, ice cream, freshly grilled burgers, hot dogs and Chinese meat slices. There were so many dishes to list.

The eleven o'clock event officially started. Today's game activities were partly planned by the Student Generation Association. Under the convening of the Student Generation Association, fifteen senior students came to lead the games, including Ring Toss, Dartboard, and Face Painting. painting) and kick ball, every game booth is very popular. Children wearing Halloween costumes are busy shuttling among the game booths, playing games and getting candies. They are so happy!

At noon, everyone began to enjoy the food and chat and laugh, adding a warm feeling to the still warm autumn. During the meeting, Principal Cheng Xiuling introduced Ms. Chen Meiwen, the president of the school’s Chinese Cultural Association, and Ms. Wen Ji’en, the president of the Student Representatives Association, to everyone. They are very grateful to the parents for their strong support of this event and hope everyone can have a good time. Then the lottery activity hosted by Principal Cheng Xiuling brought the atmosphere to the climax. After the meal, the tug-of-war competition and Pi Wan Ta set off another climax, which also brought the entire event to an end.
