Tempe police are asking for the public's help in arresting a local bank serial robber. Tempe police are asking for the public's help in catching a serial robber at three local banks, including two just last week. The suspect is a male, white, about 6 feet tall, of medium build, 50-70 years old, with gray hair and metallic eyes. Officials believe the man is connected to robberies at the following locations: 1. The robbery at the Bank of America at the corner of Rural and Ray roads last Saturday. 2. The robbery at the Chase Bank at the corner of Dobson and Chandler roads on June 20. 3. The robbery at the Chase Bank at the corner of Guadalupe and McClintock on May 29. In the three robberies mentioned above, police described the suspects as armed with handguns and all wearing blue T-shirts and red-orange baseball caps. Bank employees complied with all the robber's demands and no one was injured. Police warned the public that the suspect was armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Tempe Police immediately at 480-350-8311 or 480-WITNESS.
