Spitz plans a Buckeye restaurant on Roosevelt Street

Spitz Mediterranean Street Grill is preparing a Buckeye location at 20640 W. Roosevelt St. The restaurant is listed as coming soon, with no opening date announced.

Spitz Mediterranean Street Grill is lining up another Arizona restaurant, this time in Buckeye. The planned address is 20640 W. Roosevelt St., and the brand's site currently places the location in the coming soon category rather than giving a launch date.

Jaskarn Singh is attached as the franchise operator for the Buckeye restaurant. He is also behind the Spitz restaurant that opened in 2024 at Goodyear's GSQ development, so the Buckeye plan would add another West Valley stop for the concept.

The restaurant began in 2006 with founders Bryce Rademan and Robert Wicklund, who built the menu around Mediterranean street food served in a quick ordering format. The food draws on flavors associated with Berlin, Istanbul, and Tel Aviv, with wraps, gyros, bowls, and salads making up much of the menu.

Named menu items include the Street Cart Döner wrap, The Spitz Gyro, the Medi Bowl, and Street Cart Fries with garlic aioli, feta, and fresh vegetables. The chain also lists vegan and gluten friendly choices, craft beverages, and cocktails, giving Buckeye diners another casual option once the location opens.
