President of the Taiwan-American Chamber of Commerce in Greater Phoenix, Zhang Shengyi, delivered a speech on behalf of the chamber of commerce and expressed his gratitude to Senator John McCain. McCain has supported the Republic of China for decades and has been our best ally on Capitol Hill for a long time. Taiwan occupies a pivotal place in the world economic system. Only by supporting Taiwan's participation in the Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPP) can we enhance global competitiveness. As small and medium-sized business owners, we work hard every day at work to contribute to the U.S. economy. We also call on all Taiwanese business members to use their votes to support our allies in the general election in November this year.
