The person in charge of Sam's Club announced on Thursday morning that the four Sam's Club stores located at Casa Grande, San Tan Plaza in Chandler, Scottsdale and Prescott Valley have announced the closure of business. They will be open until January 25th. The shutdown spread across the United States. A total of 63 stores in the United States have closed or merged. Of these, 50 are closing immediately, and about 10 will remain open for a few weeks.
At the same time, along with the corporate tax reform action, Walmart also announced that the minimum wage for employees will be increased from $9 to $11 per hour. Of course, laid-off employees will also receive 60 days of compensation.
Other Sam's Club stores will still be affected normally. Customers who need to return or exchange goods can still go to other member stores to do so.
