QuikTrip plans site near Interstate 17 in north Phoenix

A new QuikTrip is planned along West Sonoran Desert Drive near Interstate 17. The location is tied to a city liquor license application and would sell beer and wine along with fuel and convenience store items.

A new QuikTrip location is being planned for 2888 W Sonoran Desert Dr on the north side of Phoenix. The site appeared in a recent city liquor license application, though the store has not yet been listed on QuikTrip's official location page.

The planned gas station would sit along West Sonoran Desert Drive near the entrance and exit ramps for Interstate 17. A Circle K gas station and convenience store already operates nearby at the North Valley Parkway intersection, placing the project in an area already used by drivers stopping for fuel and quick purchases.

The application indicates the new QuikTrip would sell beer and wine. QuikTrip stores also commonly offer fuel, snacks, breakfast sandwiches, subs, pizzas, taquitos, coffee, soft drinks and QT Gift Cards that can be used for drinks, food, merchandise and fuel.

No construction update has been announced for the site. QuikTrip has also been preparing a companywide store redesign for 2027 known as GEN 4, and the planned Phoenix store is expected to follow that format.
