Panda Express opens new Goodyear restaurant on West Yuma Road

Panda Express has opened at 17211 W Yuma Road in Goodyear. The May 22 launch included a ribbon cutting, free shirts for the first 88 guests, and a $1,000 donation to Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank.

Panda Express has opened a new restaurant at 17211 W Yuma Road in Goodyear, adding another Phoenix area address for the American Chinese chain. The store marked its debut with a ribbon cutting on May 22, 2026, joined by members of the Goodyear Chamber of Commerce, local leaders, and community residents.

Early visitors also got free shirts, with the giveaway limited to the first 88 guests. The company also donated $1,000 to Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank. The new store joins a stretch of West Yuma Road that has been picking up retail, new housing, and commuter traffic.

Andrew and Peggy Cherng founded Panda Express in 1983. The company now has more than 2,400 restaurants across the United States, including sites in shopping centers, airports, universities, and standalone buildings, and Orange Chicken remains its best known dish.

The Goodyear menu includes Honey Walnut Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, Beijing Beef, Chow Mein, bowls, plates, and family meals. Customers can order dine in, takeout, or digitally, giving families, office workers, commuters, and younger diners another quick option in the West Valley.
