Mesa's fifth water safety event Mesa's fifth water safety walk will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. this Saturday, with the purpose of raising citizens' awareness of water safety and preventing drowning. The Mesa City Fire Department reminds citizens that summer is here, and schools and primary and secondary schools are about to go out for summer vacation. Families with children at home should pay special attention to the safety of water activities. Pay special attention to the following points: 1. When children are playing in the water, they must be supervised by adults. Second, families with swimming pools must install guardrails and locked gates to keep children away from the swimming pool. Third, do not let your children play in the swimming pool before they learn to swim. 4. Adults should receive cardiopulmonary resuscitation first aid training to cope with critical incidents. Firefighters and volunteers will be going door-to-door on Saturday to hand out materials on the basics of water safety.
