Grainger, a company that provides maintenance, repair and operations products, announced plans to fill 400 jobs at its call center in Tempe.

The company opened a contact center in late February to serve corporate and institutional customers. Recruitment will be spread out over the next two years.

Headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois, Grainger provides safety gloves, ladders, motors, cleaning supplies, technical support products and more to approximately 3 million customers worldwide. More than 4,800 manufacturers supply 1.5 million products stored in Grainger's distribution centers and branches. Grainger has more than 25,000 employees and annual sales of approximately $10 billion.
