(Alberta Chinese Restaurant Association Newsletter) On November 15th, the Alberta Chinese Restaurant Association held its annual meeting to summarize the achievements and experiences of the year, point out problems and solutions, and propose tasks and activities for 2016. Chairman Zhang Huafang presided over the meeting. Board members spoke actively and put forward various suggestions and opinions on how to better serve members in the new year. Next year marks the 150th anniversary of the arrival of Chinese restaurants in the United States, and there will be major commemorative events in Chinese restaurants across the United States. As the largest Chinese restaurant organization in the southwest of the United States, the Alberta Chinese Restaurant Association will work with the official mainstream and the overseas Chinese community in Alberta to jointly organize a series of celebration activities. The meeting also discussed topics such as the Pepsi Cola discount plan, the Bank of America credit card discount plan, the joint shopping plan, the youth member cultural and sports activity plan, the Chinese and English network and the 2016 Spring Banquet. Director Deng Chaoju made a timetable for the director's task allocation and task implementation process.
