Local gang suspected in Circle K shooting Police said they suspected a gang-related shooting at a Circle K convenience store in south Phoenix last Saturday night. The shooting occurred at 10:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Circle K convenience store at South Avenue and 24th Street. Four people were injured. The victims were coming from a party near 20th Street and Carver Road when someone fired shots into their car. There were 6 people in the car. Three were hit, one in the leg and two in the hip, but none of the injuries were life-threatening, police said. Police said it was unclear whether the victim fired any shots, and some bullet casings were found in the car.
