> Tucson man fired over Chick-fil-A incident (Alberta Times) The president of Chick-fil-A, the second-largest fried chicken restaurant in the United States, recently expressed his opposition to same-sex marriage, which was met with demonstrations and protests by gay supporters across the country, causing a series of chain reactions. A few days ago, Adams Smith, who works as a senior executive for a medical supplies company in Tucson, posted a video online cursing the president of Chick-fil-A. Although Smith soon deleted the video, he also quickly resigned from his position as Vante's chief financial director. Vante president Roger Vogel admitted that Smith's ouster was directly related to his inappropriate remarks.
