The Chandler City Council will begin trialling installed cameras this week to monitor traffic crimes such as running red lights and speeding. The intersections installed are as follows:

Alma School and Warner roads

Alma School and Ray roads

Alma School and Queen Creek roads

Arizona Avenue and Warner Road

Arizona Avenue and Ray Road

Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo Road

Chandler Boulevard and Dobson Road

Chandler Boulevard and Kyrene Road

Ray and Dobson roads

Ray and Rural roads

Ray Road and McClintock Drive

Riggs and Cooper roads

From this week to May 22, the traffic camera will be put on trial. Drivers will see the camera light up, but this week is in the equipment testing phase and no warnings or tickets will be issued.

From May 23 to June 19, if you are caught violating a traffic law, you will receive a warning, but not a ticket.

Starting from June 20, tickets will be issued for violations caught on camera, and departures will officially begin.

I hope everyone will drive safely and don't break the rules.
