The 6th "Phoenix Night" will be grandly held at ASU on September 23rd (Contributed by Alberta Hualian) The 6th "Phoenix Night" celebration of the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the Mid-Autumn Festival will be held grandly at Arizona State University on September 23, 2012. In order to prepare for this event, Fei Jian, president of the Overseas Chinese Federation of Alberta, hosted the first preparatory meeting on June 30. President Fei Jian first introduced the preparation progress and preliminary activity arrangements of the 6th "Phoenix Night" to everyone. The meeting was held in a lively and orderly manner. Everyone spoke freely, brainstormed, and initially sketched out a blueprint for activities to promote Chinese culture and promote Sino-US friendship. At that time, the overseas Chinese community in Arizona will hold a series of related celebration activities, including: Sino-US Cultural Forum, National Day reception, flag-raising ceremony, youth photography competition and exhibition of outstanding works (to be finalized), talent show and Mid-Autumn Festival Dance.
