Local families

Dear friend: The reason why we contact you in this way is because you, like us, live in Arizona for study, work or entrepreneurship. We both like the blue sky, cacti and free and comfortable environment here, and we all have the same experience of life here. Like all Chinese in the United States, the Chinese in Arizona have used their intelligence and hard-working spirit to win a living space for themselves, and have been unanimously recognized by American society. How to record this period of history so that our relatives, descendants and compatriots can share our entire living environment and happy moments together is the inner hope of every Chinese living in the United States. "Yearbook of Chinese American Life-Arizona Edition" will be such a wonderful stage to record wonderful moments from now on. In order to reflect the Chinese people living in Arizona from multiple perspectives, the editorial department of "Life Yearbook" decided to solicit contributions from all Chinese people and groups in the state. As long as they basically happen within the scope of Chinese life in Arizona (as long as you think it is meaningful, you don’t have to be completely limited by time), short stories (between 200-500 words) that you are willing to share with others, such as study, work, food, clothing, travel, shopping, communication, etc., all fall within the scope of inclusion and compilation in this book (each short story can be accompanied by 2-3 photos to illustrate the content). The description of the short story does not need to be comprehensive, nor does it need to be mysterious and philosophical, as long as the cause and effect are explained. Narrated plainly and lived comfortably, together they become a unique "Life Yearbook", and your story becomes a common song for all of us. In order to let more people share your story, we have jointly developed the "Life Story" column with the Sunbird website. You can send your story directly to the website and indicate "Life Story" and the editor will arrange it into the appropriate column. You can sign directly with your original name or use a pen name. We will be happy if you are willing to publish the name of your study and work unit, so that readers can see the different styles of Chinese people in Arizona. The basic columns are as follows. You can refer to the columns, or you can tell your own unforgettable and touching stories without being limited by the columns.
