Scammer’s phone number: (999) 910-XXXX Don’t be fooled. Phone scams are nothing new. Recently, a new phone scam has appeared in Japan. Scammers call you to defraud the contents of your computer. The police have received several similar reports. The scammer often calls the victim and says that his computer has received an error message from the victim, but he can help solve it. Then ask the victim to click on the computer's "Start" menu and open the programs list. If the victim follows the instructions, the data on his computer will be copied by the scammer. The police and local media are extremely concerned about this new scam. He also pointed out that the calls from these scammers mostly come from the area code (999), including (999) 910-0248 and (999) 910-0103.
