>85% of college graduates move back home. Under the influence of heavy debt burden and unemployment, today's college graduates have become a new generation of poor people in society. Many people live in embarrassment after graduation. This year, about 80% of college students were forced to move back home and live with their parents after graduation. The New York Post reports that Huffman, a student at Vanguard University who lived in Atlanta after graduation and has been relying on his university services company to make ends meet for a year, is still hoping to find a well-paying technology job in New York City. However, the current downward trend in unemployment rate has not eased the employment prospects of more college graduates. Hoffman, who just moved to Brooklyn, New York City, said: "The unemployment rate among graduates is very high now. Some of my classmates graduated two years ago and have not found a job yet." This year, 3 million young people are expected to graduate from college. According to a survey by a research institute, as the youth unemployment rate approaches double digits, 85% of college graduates will first move back home to live with their parents, up from 67% in 2006.
