The National Overseas Chinese Community Supports Ma Ying-jeou and Wu Dunyi General Assembly event was held on August 27 (photo) (Alberta Times) On August 27, a grand general meeting of the overseas Chinese community across the United States to support Ma Ying-jeou and Wu Dunyi called on more than 40 Ma Ying-jeou support organizations from all over the United States and Canada to gather in Seattle to participate in the campaign. Lin Derui, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Kuomintang, flew to the United States to serve as the flag presenter. The national flag and party flags were flying at the scene. The scene was warm and touching. It can be said to be an overseas campaign with the widest scope of overseas representatives. The Arizona Ma-Wu Support Association, which is directly under the Arizona branch, is led by standing committee member Wang Wei (Wang Ting), and includes Zhu Jiayou, Cai Chang, Deng Kaiyi, Deng Kaili, Gu Yin and many other members. At the same time, they brought a banner with the national flag of the Republic of China, which was quite eye-catching. The grandmaster started playing the campaign-themed video, and the host's high-pitched slogan immediately heated up the atmosphere. "Unity brings strength, and unity brings hope." Lin Derui, deputy secretary-general of the Kuomintang, expressed his deep expectations to the nearly 200 overseas representatives of more than 40 support associations from North America who support Ma Wu. Everyone returned to Taiwan to support the election, and they must cast a sacred vote. At the same time, they also presented flags to the heads of Ma Wu support associations in various places. Later, Gu Yin and Wang Wei (Wang Ting), members of the Standing Committee, led the entire support group to sing patriotic songs, which instantly aroused everyone's patriotic enthusiasm. Many representatives of the overseas Chinese community took to the stage to express the importance of unity, hoping to convey their enthusiasm for the election to every overseas Chinese who cares about Taiwan and loves the Republic of China when they return to their respective places of residence.
