Fengcheng boy burned 75% of his body (Alberta Times) On Monday afternoon, a 13-year-old boy was sent to the hospital with 75% burns on his body. His parents came home about 5:30pm and saw the horrific scene. "They heard an explosion and found the boy in flames," Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Jorge Henriquez said. "But we don't know how the fire started, whether it was the boy who started it or some other accidental cause." Firefighters took the boy to Maricopa County Medical Center. The boy's head, torso, arms and legs all suffered varying degrees of burns, all ranging from second to third degree. Firefighters are reminding people that private trash burning is illegal in Phoenix.
