根据本网记者发自前方的报道，当地手机通讯中断，成都市民能感觉到强烈震感，由于是清晨，有市民从床上迅速爬起，大部分市民已经离开家里到院子里或空地上。
据市民讲述，家里有物品掉落地上，一位六十多岁的市民骆先生对记者说，感觉比上次(08年地震)还厉害，摇晃有10秒左右。
有市民在地震10余分钟后感觉到余震。
