The American technology website CNET reported that this Apple 1 was sold in 1976 by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak at Steve Jobs Jobs) assembled it in his parents' garage. The computer was auctioned along with the original user manual and a signed letter from Jobs to the original buyer, Fred Hatfield.
German auction company Breker also auctioned an Apple 1 computer in December last year. The price at that time was US$640,000, which was much higher than the hammer price of US$374,500 at Sotheby’s New York auction in June last year.
