Eight people including Peng Yue, Director and CEO of Kunming Flying Tiger Museum, are scheduled to arrive locally on June 14 for a two-day Sino-US Flying Tiger friendship and cultural tourism exchange event.

In China's ups and downs, the eight-year Anti-Japanese War was tragic and clear. Thirty million compatriots sacrificed their lives to defend the country. In the most difficult moments, the US Flying Tigers fought side by side with us. At that time, the Flying Tigers were based in Kunming, and Chinese aircraft pilots were sent from the Kunming base to the American base for training. This training base was Phoenix.

When the local held an event to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War last year, Peng Yue led a delegation to visit and participate in the grand event with us. Today is an old friend's visit again, which feels cordial.

With the assistance of Huang Xinmin and Lin Zixuan, this delegation will visit relevant units of the state and city government, the American Legion, the Falcon Aircraft Museum in Mesa and Deer Valley Air Port, and make special reports to promote the exchange of flying tiger spirit and cultural tourism between the two places.
