The United States is considering issuing five-year visas to China, whether for business, tourists or scholars. U.S. Ambassador to China Gary Locke made the above remarks when delivering a keynote speech at the "Finance" Annual Conference 2012: Forecast and Strategy on December 15.

Locke said that as China's economy grows, more and more Chinese citizens are willing to travel to the United States, either for business travel or for inspection. This can bring a win-win situation to China and the United States, and can also bring certain employment opportunities to the United States.

Locke said that we are willing to solemnly make this commitment to the Chinese government and hope that the Chinese government can take the same measures against the United States. We are waiting for such a decision from the Chinese government.

Locke said that the United States is doing its part to open the door to trade, achieve fair trade, and make our business and investment environment as friendly as possible.
