Recently, entry (transit) inspection and quarantine measures for foreigners from some countries or regions have been frequently adjusted. In order to ensure smooth travel, the Consulate General in Los Angeles hereby reminds Chinese citizens in the United States:
1. It is recommended to visit the website of the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the local area and the Chinese Consular Service Network to obtain the latest adjustment information.
2. Visit the China Consular Service Network and record the consular protection emergency phone number of our local embassy or consulate for future use.
3. Before departure, it is recommended to contact the relevant airlines for flights to the third place to confirm whether the local entry and exit policies have been temporarily adjusted in the near future and the situation.
4. If the relevant situation cannot be verified or confirmed, or there are temporary adjustments to the transfer or entry and exit policies of the third place, it is recommended to purchase tickets from other airlines in time.
In addition, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan) has recently adjusted its entry policy. Currently, there are no round-trip direct charter flights. Passengers transferring from a third place to Saipan may encounter difficulties in returning to Saipan, so it is recommended to choose carefully.
