It has been a week since Hope Chinese School and its student union launched a fundraiser on Saturday. We have good news to report to everyone. After countless twists and turns and unremitting efforts, our first batch of donated 10,000 medical masks finally reached the hands of doctors from Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Wuhan. The masks from two other hospitals (Wuxue Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Hubei Province and Renhe Hospital Affiliated to Three Gorges University in Yichang, Hubei Province) are on the way to be connected with Wuhan.
Thumbs up for the high efficiency and unremitting efforts of Hope Chinese School and the Student Union! I also like everyone’s love and the help and support of friends and volunteers at home and abroad along the way! (There are so many touching stories here!!)
We are currently preparing the second batch of medical materials. The second batch of epidemic donation target is 1000-2000 medical ASTM F standard protective clothing.
The following is the information about donations that was sent before:
Hello everyone! The new type of pneumonia in Wuhan affects everyone's heart. In order to aid and support Wuhan's fight against the epidemic, Alberta Hope Chinese School and its student union initiated and organized fundraising activities to do their best for the people in the affected areas and fight the epidemic together. To save lives and emergencies, I hope everyone will donate enthusiastically.
The donation channel is still open. I hope everyone will continue to support the doctors and hospitals during this Coronavirus epidemic! In addition, everyone is reminded not to forget to submit marching to the company after receiving the invoice!

Editor's note: Just after the reporter learned of the news, the reporter had the honor to interview Ms. Susan and Ms. Wen Ju, members of the Hope School board of directors. They told the reporter that the first batch of donations were purchased with donations from friends from all walks of life. Among them, children from the Hope School student union donated the money they usually earn from charity sales. It was the employees of Hope School, Intel and friends in the Bay Area who donated money to purchase these 10,000 masks and sent them to the disaster area as soon as possible.
We received such feedback today. We like the Hope School in Alberta, and we also like the children in the Hope School. We see that they not only study hard, but also do not forget to serve the community and help their country of origin. In the face of the Wuhan epidemic, they did not wait and see, did not remain indifferent, did not retreat, but took action as soon as possible!
Let us like the Alberta Hope Chinese School! Thumbs up for the children of Hope Chinese School Student Union! ! Thumbs up to the parents of the Student Union! ! ! Thumbs up to the many loving people! ! ! !
This is the best explanation of what it means to unite as one! (Our reporter: Yahong)
